Audit Committee
Reviews financial transactions and reviews policies and procedures for compliance with the Bylaws.
Awards Committee
Establish procedures for annual individual awards, establish criteria and method for evaluation of award nominations, and work with Chapter winners to modify nomination for submission to NIGP for national awards, when applicable.
Board of Directors
Controls and manages the affairs and finances of the Chapter and has the authority to take such actions as will serve the best interests of the Chapter. Duty of Loyalty, Duty of Care, Duty of Obedience

Education Committee
Plan, establish and coordinate educational programs that further the knowledge, expertise, education and certification of the members of the Corporation.
Membership Committee
Establish procedures for maintaining the chapter membership, execute effective recruitment and retention programs, identify potential members, distribute materials concerning the chapter and benefits of membership to potential members, and notify potential members of Chapter meetings and events.
Nomination Committee
Actively pursue nominations from the membership for director and officer positions.
Webmaster
Maintains the website, in conjunction with NIGP

Chartered on November 19, 2008, the Iowa Public Procurement Association (IPPA) is the 76th chapter of the Institute for Governmental Purchasing (NIGP) and is a non-profit organization comprised of public sector purchasing professionals throughout Iowa.
